No one at the door, and no late messages.

With no one to meet them, guests message every question, at any hour. Put the answer on the key safe, the router and the washing machine instead.

What gets a tag in a short let.

  • Key safe
  • Wi-Fi
  • Washing machine
  • Dishwasher
  • TV
  • Shower
  • Heating
  • Check-out
  • Smoke alarm
  • CO alarm

Green tags are fire safety: tapping one while signed in records the check.

Codes behind a PIN.

A tag on the key safe or the router can ask for a PIN before it shows the code. Send the PIN with the booking. Someone tapping the tag from the street sees the page without the code.

Change the PIN whenever you like, from your phone.

Check-out, ticked off.

A tag by the front door gives guests a short list for leaving: bins out, windows shut, keys back in the safe. They tick it on their own phone, with no sign-in, and you see what was ticked.

Beside the listing, not instead of it.

Tagits doesn’t connect to Airbnb or any booking site, and doesn’t need to. The tags are in the property, so the answer is there when the guest is.

The fire checks between guests.

With no host on site, the government fire safety guides for England and for Wales say the weekly and monthly tests should be done at each change of occupancy, and a record kept. Whoever turns the place round taps the alarm tags, and each check is saved with their name and the time.

How the safety log works

£99 for the first year, tags included.

Then £49 a year, or £4.99 a month, for each property. To see it working first, set up one object free with a QR sign you print yourself.

Common questions

Does Tagits connect to Airbnb?

No. Tagits isn’t connected to Airbnb or any booking site. The tags sit on the things in your property, and guests open them by tapping or with the phone’s camera, with no app and no sign-in.

Can I keep the key safe code off the page?

Yes. Put a PIN on the key safe tag and the code shows only once the PIN is typed. Send the PIN with the booking. Anyone without it sees the rest of the page and a way to tell you something is wrong.
