For the cottage you can’t be at.
Guests arrive when you’re miles away. The tags answer what they would have messaged you about: how the heating comes on, where the Wi-Fi password is, which bin is which.
What gets a tag in a cottage.
- Heating
- Log burner
- Wi-Fi
- Oven
- Washing machine
- Key safe
- Check-out
- Smoke alarm
- CO alarm
- Fire extinguisher
Green tags are fire safety: tapping one while signed in records the check.
The questions that come every week.
Put a tag on the thing guests get stuck on. The log burner tag opens the log burner page: how to light it, and what not to burn. Nothing to scroll past.
Change a page from your phone when something changes. Replace the boiler and the tag stays where it is; it opens the new page from the next tap.
Set up at the kitchen table.
The tags work anywhere, so you don’t need to be at the cottage to set them up. When the parcel arrives, tap each tag, say what it will go on and write its page. Stick them on at your next visit, or send them to whoever cleans.
Rather not write the pages? For the first cottages we write them for you, from the notes you already give guests.
The changeover check, on record.
Where no owner or staff are on site, the government fire safety guides for England and for Wales say the weekly and monthly tests should be done at each change of occupancy, and a record kept. Your cleaner taps each alarm and extinguisher tag, answers one question, and the check is saved with their name and the time.
Miss a month and you get an email saying which test is overdue.
How the safety log worksWhen something stops working.
Every tag has a “Something not working?” button. The guest says what’s wrong and you get an email naming the object, so you know it’s the dishwasher before you ring anyone.
£99 for the first year, tags included.
Then £49 a year, or £4.99 a month, for each property. To see it working first, set up one object free with a QR sign you print yourself.
Common questions
Do I need to be at the cottage to set up the tags?
No. A tag works wherever it is, so you can tap each one when the parcel arrives, say what it will go on and write its page. Stick them on at your next visit, or send them to whoever cleans the cottage.
What happens when I replace an appliance?
Edit its page from your phone. The tag stays where it is and opens the new page from the next tap. If the new one is somewhere else, move the tag and rename it in your account.
