Answers in every room, without the folder.
The folder on the dresser goes unread. A tag by the TV, the shower or the heating opens the page for that thing on the guest’s own phone.
What gets a tag in a guest room.
- Wi-Fi
- TV
- Shower
- Heating
- Lights
- Breakfast
- Keys and doors
- Smoke alarm
- Fire extinguisher
Green tags are fire safety: tapping one while signed in records the check.
The same tags, room by room.
Give each room the tags it needs, and name each page so guests know it’s theirs: “Shower, room 3”. Breakfast times and house rules go on a tag of their own.
Up to fifteen tags come with the first year. Need more for the rooms? Add them to the same order at £2.50 each.
The monthly alarm tests, on record.
The government fire safety guides for England and for Wales say smoke alarms should be tested monthly and a record kept, in a log book or electronically. Tap the alarm tag after each test and it’s saved with the date, the time and your name.
If a month goes by without one, you get an email.
How the safety log worksHear about it before they leave.
Every tag has a “Something not working?” button. The guest says what’s wrong and you get an email naming the object, while they’re still in the building.
£99 for the first year, tags included.
Then £49 a year, or £4.99 a month, for each property. To see it working first, set up one object free with a QR sign you print yourself.
Common questions
Does Tagits work in a B&B where I live on site?
Yes. Guests tap the tags in their rooms for the Wi-Fi, the TV or breakfast times, and the alarm tags hold the record of your monthly tests. You record those yourself, signed in on your phone.
How many tags does a guest house need?
Up to fifteen come with the first year. Count the things guests ask about in each room, then add the alarms and extinguishers. If that comes to more than fifteen, add the rest to the same order at £2.50 each.
